We give our time, money, professional expertise, and other resources to inspire, support, and advance our members as well as women in our communities working in agriculture, food, beverage, hospitality, and related fields.

Shelly Kessen, a public relations leader at FleishmanHillard, brings nearly 30 years of experience communicating across the food chain to farmers, consumers, and influencers.

Co-Vice President

Jennifer Kaye
Jennifer Kaye, co-owner of The Allspicery in East Sacramento with her sister, previously worked 20+ years in food packaging and founded About a Bite Bakery, specializing in bite-sized desserts.

Elise Bauer
Elise Bauer founded SimplyRecipes.com in 2003 to preserve her family’s recipes. It grew into one of the world’s most popular cooking websites, reaching millions of readers monthly.

Carrie Boyle
Carrie Boyle, a leader in Sacramento’s wine community, is a consultant, educator, writer, judge, and event organizer with 25+ years’ experience spanning wine shops, Total Wine & More, and her own firm.

Secretary

Debbie Arrington
Debbie Arrington, an award-winning writer and master rosarian, co-created Sacramento Digs Gardening and freelances for media outlets highlighting food, gardening, and community.
